I have been to 115 current United Nation countries. Soon I’ll add Macedonia, Kosovo and Cyprus so total will be 118. Adding the Vatican, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan makes it a total of 122. Actually, Kosovo is not yet a UN member due to the refusal of Russia and China… though I count Kosovo 🙂
Current United Nations member countries I have visited:
21. Cape Verde
92. San Marino
106. Timor Leste (East Timor)
Not current UN members but generally considered independent or autonomous
Other territories (I don’t count these separately)
C. Greenland (Denmark)
D. Tibet (China)
Cyprus, Kosovo, Macedonia, Africa (Ethiopia to Cape Town), Bhutan, Madagascar and Mongolia.
In RED are the American states I have explored. I do not count transfers at airports. Most of these states I have explored by car. Only 6 not yet visited, North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Mississippi, and Alabama.
In Canada I have explored all provinces except the northern territories, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland/Labrador. Note that I lived in Toronto for almost 9 years.
